I strive to create the best experience for my clients, so here’s what you can expect when you book a photo session with Jamie Lee Photography:

Inquiry. Once you submit an inquiry with basic information such as the type of session, date range, and location you’re looking for, I will coordinate scheduling with my team of photographers and send you a contract.

Planning. In the weeks leading up to your photo session, don’t hesitate to send me your Pinterest inspiration board or ask advice on what to wear. These photos are yours for a lifetime, so I’m happy to hear any ideas you want to incorporate, and guide you on color palettes and outfit choices that photograph well.

Confirmation. A day or two before the session, I will send out a text to connect you and the photographer, and confirm the date, time, and location details of your shoot. Payment is due the day of the session.

Day of. The day of your photo session has finally arrived! Try to relax and have fun. I like to tell all my family session clients that the kids are in charge. If they want to be held, we’re going to hold them. If they want to run around, we’re going to run around. As experienced photographers, we have tricks up our sleeve to make everyone look great (especially you, moms) in the photos—even cranky kids . . . or husbands.

Editing and gallery delivery. Once your photo session is done, the photographer will send all images to me for editing. I’ll send you a couple sneak peeks within three days of your session, with your full online gallery delivered within 1-4 weeks. Wedding gallery delivery takes a little longer, around 10 weeks.

FAQs

What is your editing style?

I don’t want your photos to look outdated in 10, 20 years, so I strive for a natural editing aesthetic that incorporates warm, earthy colors. I also take lighting into consideration. A sunset “golden hour” session will be more vibrant and warm than a sunrise “blue hour” session. My clients’ personal style is equally important. If you have a colorful home, for example, you likely don’t want an abundance of black-and-white images in your gallery.

How many images will I get?

It depends on the type of session! See the Lifestyle and Weddings pages for a full breakdown of what’s included in each package.

Do you offer a print release?

Yes! All sessions, including weddings, come with a print release, so you can print and share them as you please.

Can pets be in the photos?

Of course! Your pets are part of your family, too.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! This mama is always down for a vacation. If your photo session is outside of Iowa or Colorado, a travel fee will be incurred.

Can I get my images printed anywhere?

Yes! I personally like Artifact Uprising for albums and Smallwoods for large wall prints.
